Experience Virtual Reality Gaming
Virtual reality gaming is coming to Evanston Public Library for one exciting day on Saturday, July 20, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Chicago Avenue/Main Street Branch, 900 Chicago Avenue. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a FREE hands-on experience of an emerging technology. Enjoy a three-dimensional game system that engages the senses and puts you in the center of vibrant, imaginary worlds. The program is free and open to anyone 13 years of age or older.
Using an Oculus Rift headset, participants will virtually travel across the globe with Google Earth, simulate the body floating in space using Lone Echo, draw and paint in 3-D with Tilt Brush, and cut through the beats of favorite songs in a futuristic world via Beat Saber.
Try something new in our friendly, welcoming space! Sign-up for a 20 minute session online at https://evanston.libnet.info/event/2850391 or by calling us at 847-905-0764.
