Food Truck Festival and Starlight Concert

Food Truck Festival

Bring your taste buds out for the Food Truck Festival and Starlight Concert on Tues., July 16, at Brummel Park. Over ten delicious food trucks will be on site beginning at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will also enjoy interactive family activities beginning at 6 p.m. and a concert featuring Kevin Purcell and The Nightburners at 7 p.m.

Evanston Earns Community Wildlife Habitat Certification

Evanston is the first Illinois city to achieve certification as a Community Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. Natural Habitat Evanston, a program of Citizens’ Greener Evanston, led the citywide effort to earn the certification, helping to achieve one of the goals set by the City’s Climate Action and Resilience Plan.

FJT's Opening Weekend of 'Sunset Baby' by Dominique Morisseau 

Sunset Baby

Dominique Morisseau's 'Sunset Baby,' a story about the generational differences exposed when an estranged former revolutionary visits his daughter, opens this weekend at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre. Catch performances on Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. through the end of July.
