On Writing Fiction: The Hows and Whys

Tuesdays, 3:30 - 5 pm, Falcon Room, Main Library (last session July 30)

Join published author and EPL librarian Betsy Bird for a six-week intensive exploration of what it takes to be an author. Bird will discuss craft, character, style, voice, and what it actually means to be a working writer today. Attendees will be invited to share their own work, receive constructive criticism, and explore different aspects of fiction writing including: FanFic, Poetry, Memoir, and Genre.

Utilize the ages-old techniques of hand paper making to recycle and reuse old books into new paper for various uses! No experience necessary, but please expect to get a little wet! Drop In.
