Sign Up for Pre-Camp Activity Day June 10

Evanston summer camps will begin on Tues., June 11 due to the ETHS makeup day on Mon., June 10. To assist community members seeking childcare on June 10, the City is offering free drop-in programming for children ages 6 to 12 years old at the Chandler-Newberger Community Center and Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center. Registration is required. In addition, all Evanston public swimming beaches will be free on June 10.

Fountain Square Celebration May 18

The 5th annual Evanston Literary Festival celebrates the city’s vibrant literary community and history at locations around Evanston, May 11 through 19. Enjoy dozens of events featuring fiction, poetry, nonfiction, children’s literature, storytelling, graphic novels, writing workshops and more, with prominent authors, many of whom live or work in Evanston. Admission to all events is free.
