'It's the Great Pumpkin Compost' this Saturday

Rescue your Halloween pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns from withering on the front porch or ending up in the landfill at the City's 3rd annual “It's the Great Pumpkin Compost” collection event! The free event will take place this Sat., Nov. 3, 9 a.m. to noon, in the parking lot of the Morton Civic Center. Residents may also dispose of plain, clean pumpkins in their food and yard waste cart.
