EVANSTON, ILLINOIS - Evanston's 2018 Starlight Concert Series will feature eight free outdoor concerts at park locations throughout the city June 5 through July 31. The series is presented by the City's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.

Starlight concerts will take place on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Interactive family activities will occur before each concert from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The concert schedule is available at cityofevanston.org/starlight. There will be no concert on July 3.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will take place at the Levy Senior Center, located at 300 Dodge Ave. Updates will be available after 4:30 p.m. on the show date by calling 847-448-4311 (until 7 p.m.) or by visiting cityofevanston.org/starlight.

The June 19 Starlight Concert at Twiggs Park will celebrate Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the abolishment of slavery. The July 17 concert at Brummel Park will include a Food Truck Festival, with food trucks featuring a variety of food and dessert options on site beginning at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks will also be available at the Bent Park concert on June 26 beginning at 6 p.m.
