Evanston Police Investigate an Incident of Two People Shot
 EVANSTON, IL - On May 18, 2018, at 1:04 p.m. Evanston Police responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the 300 block of Custer Ave. Evanston Police dispatch was notified that two victims with gunshot wounds had arrived a Presence St. Francis Emergency Room which is only a few blocks from the scene of the incident.
Evanston Officers arrived at the scene of the shooting and the Emergency Room. Detectives learned that both victims had non-life threatening injuries. Evidence of the shooting was located in the street in the 300 block of Custer. The investigation confirmed that the victims at the Emergency Room were from the shooting on Custer Ave.
One victim is a 20 year old male and the other is a 21 year old male both residents of Chicago. The victims were sitting in a car parked in the 300 block of Custer Ave when they were shot. The victims were not armed when they arrived at the hospital.
There are no suspects in custody. Evanston police detectives are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
