The Evanston Falcon Naming Challenge
Fay and Squawker are incubating 4 eggs at our Peregrine Falcon nesting site. We're thinking ahead to a fun and informative falcon banding event with Field Museum scientists here in June. (Date: TBA.) You can win front row seats by entering our Falcon Naming Contest. Submit up to four names with a reason for each choice. Please indicate if the name is for a female, male, or either. Send names by midnight, Sunday, May 27, to Jill Schacter.

Evanston Literary Festival Delights
Enjoy dozens of events as the Evanston Literary Festival continues through May 20. This week features two National Book Award winning writers, Charles Johnson and Daniel Borzutzky, and the co-author of The Shape of Water, Daniel Kraus. Writing workshops, a mini Comic Con, a type-in, activism inspired events and much more is at evanstonlit.org.
