Evanston youth ages 14 to 18 years are encouraged to find their perfect summer job at Mayor Hagerty's Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP) Job Fair this Sat., March 3, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at ETHS. More than 40 employers providing summer and year-round employment will be present.

Mayor's State of the City Luncheon March 9

Reminder: Street Cleaning Season Is Here

The City’s Public Works Agency began 2018 street cleaning operations today, Thurs., March 1. Parking signage posted at the beginning and end of each block indicates the specific days and times that parking restrictions will be in place on each street (i.e. First Thursday of the Month, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Ridge Avenue Speed Limit Reduced to 25 mph

In an effort to reduce vehicle crashes and improve safety, the City has reduced the speed limit on Ridge Avenue, from Howard to Emerson Streets, from 30 mph to 25 mph.
