RCN Aerial Construction in West Evanston February 19 through March 19

Starting Monday, February 19 and ending Monday, March 19, RCN Construction will be bringing internet, phone and video services to residents of west Evanston. Construction will occur in the area bordered by Emerson and Dempster Streets, and McDaniel and Hartrey Avenues. A map of the construction area can be found in the attached newsletter.

Work will take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will consist of aerial construction for the placement of coax and fiber for internet, video and telephone services. Aerial bucket trucks and trailers will be on the streets and in alleys. In some cases, construction will cause pedestrian and vehicle traffic to be altered. Traffic control signs, symbols and flaggers, as needed, will be used to maintain traffic flow as well as sidewalk reroutes. All residents will have access to their garages during times of construction.

Residents' current services with other companies will not be interrupted. Please stay alert and obey all construction signs. Thank you for your patience.
