Temporary Traffic Control Plan on Central Street January 23 through February 6

A temporary traffic control plan will be implemented on Central Street, between Hartrey and Prairie Avenues, from Tuesday, January 23 through Tuesday, February 6, to complete a sewer and water service installation at 2022 Central St. Work will take place Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PJS Sewer & Water, Inc. will require use of the south lanes on Central Street affecting eastbound and westbound traffic. There will be a reduction of lanes on Central Street on this block and parking meters will be impacted on both the north and south sides of the street.

Please take extreme caution due to workers and equipment in the area. There will be signage to assist drivers and pedestrians during working hours and a sidewalk detour will be provided. After working hours, the street will be secured with steel plates to allow for vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
