Penny Park to Close for Planned Improvements September 11-15

Penny Park will be closed to the public from Monday, September 11 through Friday, September 15 for the completion of final punch list work associated with the Penny Park Renovation Project. Work will include the application of a wood sealer throughout the entire playground as well as the installation of sod in bare areas.

This work is weather sensitive and may need to be rescheduled based on actual field conditions.

Contractor
The general contractor for this project is Elanar Construction Corporation, 6620 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL.

City Monitoring
The project is monitored by the City’s Capital Planning & Engineering Bureau. All questions concerning the project should be directed to Senior Project Manager Stefanie Levine at 3-1-1 or 847-448-4311.
