Save the Date: "Jalisco en Evanston" August 31
Mark your calendar! "Jalisco en Evanston" is Thurs., Aug. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year's event will be held in a new location: the main auditorium at Evanston Township High School. Admission is free.
Citizen Police Complaint Assessment Committee
 Mayor Hagerty has established a nine-member Citizen Police Complaint Assessment Committee to report back to the Human Services Committee in May 2018. Interested residents are encouraged to apply.

Evanston Public Library Eclipse Party 8/21
 The Evanston Public Library will host an Eclipse Viewing Party on Mon., Aug. 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Although the eclipse viewing portion of the event is full, community members can still drop by for crafts and activities.
