Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center Washroom Renovations Underway
The City of Evanston is completing washroom improvements at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, located at 1655 Foster St. Work began on August 7 and is expected to be complete by early September.
Improvements include complete rehabilitation of the men’s and women’s washrooms located at the south end of the building. Washrooms located north of the gymnasium will remain open. Every effort will be made to minimize inconveniences during construction.
The project is funded through the General Obligation Funds for Capital Improvement Projects.
Contractor
The general contractor for this project is Construction Consulting and Disbursement Services, Inc., 5836 Lincoln Ave., Suite 200, Morton Grove, IL.
City Monitoring
The project is monitored by the City’s Capital Planning & Engineering Bureau. Questions concerning the project should be directed to Project Manager Anil Khatkhate at 847-448-4311.
