New Traffic Modification Planned for 1500 Block of Sherman Ave.
In the coming weeks, the Fountain Square Renovation Project will implement a new traffic modification on the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue. Specifically, the northbound left turn lane from Sherman Avenue to Davis Street will shift from the east side of the traffic island to the west side of the traffic island. A diagram detailing this modification is below.
Drivers and pedestrians are advised to be aware of the modification when traveling through the downtown area.
Contractor
The general contractor for this project is Copenhaver Construction, 75 Koppie Dr., Gilberts, IL.
City Monitoring
