Levy Senior Center Parking Lot Improvements Planned August 7 through September 15

Levy Senior Center parking lot resurfacing is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 7 as part of the City’s 2017 Parking Lot Improvement Project.

The lot will be completely closed to the public from August 7 to August 11, which coincides with a planned closure of the Levy Senior Center for facility maintenance work. From August 12 to September 15, parking lot construction will be staged to allow parking in approximately half of the parking lot at a time.

Work will include asphalt resurfacing of the existing pavement, minor landscaping, and the installation of additional LED lighting at the entrances to improve visibility. Work will also include the addition of 29 head-in parking stalls along the south side of Mulford Street adjacent to the James Park baseball fields.

Contractor
The general contractor for this project is Builders Paving, LLC., 4413 Roosevelt Rd., Suite 108, Hillside, IL.
