Dear Friends,

Just a friendly reminder, the Advanced Disposal open house scheduled for tomorrow, Thurs., July 13 at 7 p.m. has been rescheduled to Tues., July 18 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, 1823 Church StAdvanced Disposal will share with the community new site improvement plans for the Evanston Transfer Station located at 1711 Church St. Construction of the project will begin by  Thurs. Aug. 1 and will include closing a portion of the sidewalk along the north side of Church St. for a least one month. Improvements will include: demolition of an abandoned brick building, widening the current entrance, installation of a 12-foot. sound and visual barrier wall and improved aesthetics and green space.
