Nicor to Perform Sewer Inspections, Identify Meter Locations in North Evanston

Nicor Gas and its contractors will be performing sewer inspections and identifying new gas meter locations in north Evanston beginning today, Monday, June 26.

Areas affected include:

  • 2709 – 3330 Central St.
  • 2129 – 3001 Central Park Ave.
  • 2508 – 2550 Cowper Ave.
  • 2503 – 2525 Crawford Ave.
  • 3304 - 3333 Culver St.
  • 2536 – 2541 Ewing Ave.
  • 2936 – 2965 Grant St.
  • 2935 – 3233 Harrison St.
  • 2505 – 2547 Hastings Ave.
  • 2111 – 2554 Lawndale Ave.
  • 2447 – 2515 Lincolnwood Dr.
  • 2448 – 2551 Marcy Dr.
  • 3001 – 3042 Normandy Pl.
  • 3016 – 3045 Payne St.
  • 2500 – 2601 Prospect Ave.
  • 2445 – 2554 Ridgeway Ave.

In July, Nicor will begin the installation of new natural gas main in the area. For more details and a map of locations, please view the attached project newsletter.
