Trial Traffic Restrictions Planned for Ridge Avenue and Greenwood Street
To address safety and operational concerns at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Greenwood Street, the City of Evanston’s Public Works Agency in coordination with the Evanston Police Department will implement changes to the traffic patterns at this intersection on a trial basis beginning Wednesday, May 3 through October 2017.
Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., the following traffic restrictions will be enforced:
- Both eastbound and westbound traffic on Greenwood Street will be required to turn right onto Ridge Avenue. Left turns or straight through the intersection movements will not be allowed from Greenwood Street.
