Tour the Water Treatment Facility May 13

Get a behind-the-scenes look at Evanston's Water Treatment Facility on Sat., May 13 as part of National Drinking Water Week (NDWW)! Two free tours will be offered; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The first tour is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for residents 15 years and older. A second “child friendly” tour will follow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for residents with children age 6 years or older. To register, please call 847-448-8198 or email water@cityofevanston.org

2017 Pavement Patching Begins Next Week

The City will improve the condition of 26,000 square yards of pavement at 123 locations throughout Evanston beginning the week of April 17. The work is expected to take three weeks to complete. A map of locations is available online.

Share Your Ideas at Equity & Empowerment Town Hall Meetings

Share your ideas on issues of access, equity and empowerment in Evanston at any of five upcoming town hall meetings, April 17 through April 27. City of Evanston Equity and Empowerment Coordinator Patricia A. Efiom will moderate the meetings, which will take place at the Morton Civic Center, Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, Evanston Public Library and the Levy Center.
