Evanston 311 Celebrates Six Years!

Happy anniversary, Evanston 311! Launched on March 1, 2011 (3-1-11), the City’s 311 Center is celebrating six years of service to the Evanston community.

Who They Are

Evanston 311 is your key to City information and services. The 10-person team includes two bilingual (English/Spanish) staff.

What They Do

Have a question or a request for service? Ask 311! Since its launch, Evanston 311 has handled:

• 783,143 phone calls
• 165,904 service requests
• 12,875 live online chats (starting July 2012)
• 4,633 text messages (starting July 2014)

Top service requests include building permit inspections and special trash pick-ups.
