Shovel Your Sidewalk,
It's the Neighborly Thing to Do

Snow shovel

Please make Evanston safe for everyone this winter season, especially those with disabilities, seniors and children. It is your responsibility to clear snow and ice from the sidewalks around your property and spread salt, or sand, whenever there is a snowfall with an accumulation of four inches (4") or more and within 24 hours.

The Senior & Disabled Persons Snow Shoveling program connects residents with volunteers who are willing to provide snow shoveling services.
