 The City's 2017 Proposed Budget is now available online. The budget will be formally presented to the City Council on Mon., Oct. 17, 7 p.m., in the James C. Lytle City Council Chambers. A public hearing on the budget will be Sat., Oct. 29, at 9 a.m.
Open House Chicago Returns to Evanston this Weekend
 Get free, behind-the-scenes access to Evanston's architectural treasures! This weekend, Sat., Oct. 15 and Sun., Oct. 16, the Chicago Architecture Foundation's "Open House Chicago" will open the doors to 200 buildings, including 14 in Evanston.

31st Annual Marty F. Leoni Fun Run 10/16
 Participate in the 31st Annual Marty F. Leoni Fun Run this Sun., Oct. 16, 8:30 a.m., beginning at Fire Department Headquarters. Firefighter/Paramedic Marty Leoni lost his life in the line of duty at a fire in Evanston on July 22, 1985. All proceeds benefit the Marty Leoni Memorial Fund.

Sheridan Road Rebuilding Project Update 10/17
 The City will showcase upcoming plans for the complete rebuilding of a 1.9-mile stretch of Sheridan Road during the Evanston City Council meeting on Mon., Oct. 17. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Morton Civic Center.
