Enjoy Evanston Streets Alive! this Sunday

Streets Alive 2015

Walk, run, bike or skate to Evanston Streets Alive! this Sun., Aug. 14! The free, "open streets" event will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Main Street, from Chicago Avenue to Robert Crown Park. Enjoy games, booths, activities, food trucks, live performances, open space and much more. The event will also include the Green Living Festival, presented by NorthShore University HealthSystem.

Celebrate Evanston, diversity and going back to school at the City’s 2016 CommUNITY Picnic on Sun., Aug. 21, noon to 4 p.m., at Ingraham Park! The free event will feature free food, games, activities, entertainment, community partner social service agencies and more.
