EVANSTON, ILLINOIS - The Evanston Police and Fire Foundation (EPFF) with the full support of Valli Produce, International Fresh Market, is hosting “The Great Evanston Police vs. Fire Grill Off.” 

A donation of $5 gives community members the chance to taste both the “Uniform Bleu Burger” and the “Where There’s Fire (fighters), There’s Smoke Burger.”

When: Saturday, July 16, Noon to 2 p.m.

Where: Evanston Plaza, Dempster St. and Dodge Ave., Evanston

The Evanston Police and Fire Foundation is dedicated to providing the Evanston Police and Fire Departments with the supplemental resources needed to enhance the quality of life of all Evanston residents and community members.

Valli Produce, International Fresh Market, Hecky’s BBQ, Schwab Realty, Radio Station WCGO 1590 AM and the US Army are proud to partner with the Police and Fire Departments as well as the EPFF to give thanks for their dedicated service to this community.

Valli Produce, International Fresh Market, will be offering the highest quality ingredients to the talented chefs of the Police and Fire Departments; Hecky Powell (Hecky’s BBQ) will be providing the grills; the US Army will provide a rock climbing wall; WCGO 1590 AM has dedicated air time for promotion; and Schwab Realty is providing plaza space for the event.
