Levy Center is offering free fitness classes Tuesday, May 31 through Sunday, June
5! This is a great opportunity to find the fitness class that's right for you

 Secretary of State Super Senior Day is a convenient and voluntary program for driver’s license renewal, which includes Rules of the Road classroom instruction, and a vision-screening exam.
On Friday, June 3, a Rules of the Road Review Course will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required; call the Levy Center at 847-448-8250 or visit the front desk. This course will include a review of safe driving techniques and Illinois driving laws.
The Secretary of State Mobile Driver Services Unit will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for participants to renew their driver’s licenses. An identification card can be obtained for $20; however, if you are age 65 and older you may obtain a free, non-expiring State of Illinois photo ID card. Drivers age 75 and older are required to take a driving test to renew their driver’s licenses; therefore they must visit a Secretary of State Driver Services facility.

 Beginning Bridge: 10 a.m. to Noon Have you ever wanted to learn how to
play bridge? Here’s your chance. Learn
about bidding, point counting, and
response to bids. This course is $36 for Levy members and $51 for non-members, and takes place from June 3 through July 8. (Class #524138)
Intermediate Bridge: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Have you played bridge but need
to brush up on rules and terms? This is the class for you.
To participate in the intermediate class, you should know
ranking of suits, point count, opening bid requirements and
generally understand how to play hands at a beginning level. This course is $36 for Levy members and $51 for non-members, and takes place from June 3 through July 8. (Class #524123)

Join us for Mark’s annual piano concert on Friday, June 10 at 1:30 p.m. as he gets ready to
tour this summer. After the concert, there will be ice cream

 This introductory class is for those with no previous
experience. Through instruction and demos, participants will
have the opportunity to experiment and develop foundational
jewelry-making skills and learn basic metalsmithing
techniques, such as design, layout, sawing, texturing,
forming and polishing. Using nickel, silver, copper and brass,
participants will complete two to three pieces of jewelry in the
six-week session. The fee includes basic materials and use of a
limited set of tools. Students may bring tools and supplies or
buy additional supplies from the instructor during class. The costs is $40 for Levy members and $95 for non-members. This class is held on Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., from June 15 through July 20, and is underwritten by the Levy Senior Center Foundation. Register online or call 847-448-8250.  On Thursday, June 16, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Debra Levie will present a program on Walter
Burt Adams, a well-known Evanston artist, and other Illinois artists.
There will be time for questions after the PowerPoint program.

Are you getting ready to celebrate the
Fourth of July? Looking for something to
put on your front door or hang on a wall?
This is the class for you. On Monday, June 27, at 10 a.m., for only $10 you'll make a project that you'll be able to
use in your home for the Fourth of July. The finished product will
