The City is hosting a 3rd grade art contest and high school Instagram contest to celebrate National Drinking Water Week. Winners will receive four free beach tokens for the 2016 season! Submissions due by Mon., March 14.
Reminder: No Political Yard Signs on Public Property
Residents, candidates, campaign staff and volunteers are reminded that City ordinance prohibits the placement of political yard signs in right of ways and on public property, including street corners and the area between the sidewalk and the street.

Pulitzer Prize Finalist to Share Inspiring Story on March 9
Author Luis Alberto Urrea, author of "Into the Beautiful North" and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, will share his inspiring story on Wed., March 9, 7 p.m., in the ETHS auditorium. This event is part of the Evanston Public Library's "The Big Read" program.
Davis St. Metra Station Ticket Office Temporarily Closed
The ticket office at the Davis Street Metra station is temporarily closed until further notice. Trains servicing the Davis Street Metra station will not be impacted during the ticket office’s closure.

"Reinventing Landscapes" Exhibit Debuts 3/6
An opening reception for "Reinventing Landscapes" will take place on Sun., March 6, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the 2nd floor gallery of the Noyes Cultural Arts Center. Admission is free; light refreshments will be served. Another exhibition, "Intimate Connections," is also hosting an opening reception at the same time in the Center's 1st floor gallery.
