EVANSTON POLICE ARREST ARMED ROBBERY OFFENDER

 

Evanston Police Detectives following up on an armed robbery investigation that occurred back on January 9, 2016 at approximately 9:00 P.M. at the Aldi Foods located at 2211 Oakton St. arrested Hamilton G. Solórzano of Chicago on February 28, 2016.

The original incident occurred when an Aldi’s clerk was robbed at gun point of register receipts totaling $1,575.59 in cash. Through witnesses, video and physical evidence, Detectives following up on the investigation developed information leading to a person of interest. As a result, Solorzano was arrested and charged with one count of Armed Robbery.
