Salvation Army "Because He Lives!" Spring Recital

Join the Salvation Army Evanston Corps, 1403 Sherman Ave., on Friday, March 18 for a music recital. The program, "Because He Lives!," will begin at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, but an offering will be collected to benefit the music program.

Register for the Women's One Day Conference May 7

On Saturday, May 7, Bethany Baptist Church of Christ, 1225 Elmwood Ave., will host a Women's One Day Conference on "Navigating Life's Experiences While Living a Holistic Christian Life" from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants should register by Friday, April 15 at bethanybaptistchurchofchrist.org, or call 847-864-6689.

The Church will also host a Pre-Women’s Day Conference Worship Service with Guest Speaker Rev. Rosemarie Wilson-Banks, Senior Pastor of Restoration Christian Fellowship in Evanston, on Friday, May 6. The service will take place at 7 p.m.

H.E.R Women's Weekend Retreat May 20-22

Join the First Church of God Christian Life Center for the 2nd annual H.E.R. Women's Weekend Retreat hosted by Elect Lady Tina Dillard. 

The theme for this year is WISE - Women Inspired & Spiritually Empowered.
