Terra & Vine logo

I’m pleased to welcome Alpana Singh and her new restaurant, Terra & Vine, to the City of Evanston and the 2nd Ward! The restaurant, to be located at 1701 Maple Ave. in the space formerly occupied by Bravo! Cucina Italiana, is expected to debut later this year. Terra & Vine will feature “refined, rustic Mediterranean fare with Italian emphasis,” and will include a 115-seat dining room, a 70-seat outdoor patio for the summer months, and will house an adjacent 40-seat bar, Bar Terra. This establishment is a fantastic addition to the City’s booming dining and entertainment scene, and will provide great employment opportunities for Evanston residents. Mural Projects in Our 2nd Ward

Lea Pinsky mural

Thank you to Jennifer Lasik, City of Evanston Cultural Arts Coordinator, who attended our ward meeting to discuss several mural projects in our community. The Evanston Arts Council is looking for advice from ward members for a mural planned east of Darrow Ave. near Advanced Disposal. The mural will be sustainable and sentimental, incorporating everyday items found in our 2nd Ward. In addition, muralists Lea Pinsky and Dustin Harris will work with ETHS students to complete a mural project at the Emerson/Ridge/Green Bay underpass, expected to begin this summer. Please direct questions and comments about these projects to Jennifer Lasik at 847-859-7835 or jlasik@cityofevanston.org.
