Kairos Movement at the Second Baptist Church of Evanston

Join the young adults of Second Baptist Church for a new praise and worship experience that includes singing, dancing, and spoken word! Casual attire is strongly encouraged. The service will be held on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 1717 Benson Ave., in Evanston. More information is available at facebook.com/SBCLightHouse.

PeaceMaker Event at Reba Place Church March 4

Join Reba Place Church for an evening of performances by musicians, artists and poets, and a live demonstration of how a gun may be transformed into a garden tool on Friday, March 4, at 6:45 p.m. Guest speakers include internationally known blogger Austin Channing Brown and Elizabeth Ramirez. With a focus on peacemaking and curbing violence, this event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m. in the Reba Place Church Meetinghouse, located at 620 Madison St., in Evanston. Refreshments and a book-signing will close the evening.
