Drop In and Have Fun at "Time Together!"

Join us at Time Together! Children ages 0 to 4 years can spend time with their parent or caregiver at the Chandler-Newberger Center's drop-in gym program. Toys for all ages, books, an indoor playground, and snacks will keep you and your child busy. Learn more about this program!

Ecology Center Winter Fest January 30

Bundle up and join us for a celebration of winter on Saturday, January 30, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Ecology Center! Snow and ice activities and games will make for a fun-filled frozen day for the entire family. After our snow-filled fun, we'll defrost with hot chocolate in front of the fire. This program is for children ages 1 year and older. The cost is $5 for residents; $7 for non-residents. For more information or to register, please call 847-448-8256.


Sign Up Your Preschooler for Tiny Trekkers

How do plants and animals transform in the spring? Unlock these mysteries with your preschooler (ages 3-5 years) at Tiny Trekkers, a 6-week series at the Ecology Center. Classes take place on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and include crafts, stories, songs and snacks. Valentine's Day Family Fun Fest February 14

Join us on Sunday, February 14, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Levy Senior Center for our 3rd annual Valentine's Day Family Fun Fest! Families will enjoy food, games and prizes, crafts, face painting and much more! The cost is $5 in advance; $7 at the door.

Enjoy Squirrel Tales on February 19

Join Sara Squirrel on Friday, February 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for story time at the Ecology Center. Stories will be read in front of the fireplace and will be followed by a craft and nature walk. Pre-registration is recommended, but drop-ins are welcome until the class is full. "I Can Go to School 2" Starts February 15!

"I Can Go to School 2" offers your 2 to 3 year old a gentle introduction to preschool. With a parent or guardian by their side, your toddler will participate in music and movement, arts and crafts, circle time and free play. Classes meet Monday or Friday mornings at the Chandler-Newberger Center. Winter session II class themes include "Up in the Air" and "Over the Rainbow."
