ADDITIONAL CHARGE FILED IN FATAL CRASH FROM SEPTEMBER 

As previously released: On September 27, 2015 at approximately 2:20 AM, the Evanston Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue, where a vehicle driven by Monica Wallace had struck multiple parked vehicles and subsequently rolled over.  A passenger in Wallace's vehicle, Lamart Bailey, 45 years old and a resident of Evanston was later pronounced dead at Evanston Hospital.  As a result of the crash investigation, on September 29, 2015 Monica Wallace was charged with one count of felony Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. 

Updated Information:  On October 14, 2015, after the results of the crash investigation were presented to the Grand Jury at the Circuit Court of Cook County, Monica Wallace was indicted for one count of Reckless Homicide and one count of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
