 Dear Friends,
The City's Park & Recreation Board will hold its next meeting on Thursday, September 24, 7 p.m., at the Robert Crown Center, located at 1701 Main St. City Staff has recommended that the Park & Recreation Board consider
making a formal recommendation to the City Council regarding the following items as they relate to Penny Park:
- Build a new playground or rehab the existing playground
- Build a restroom facility or not
- Build a picnic pavilion or not
- Utilize a community build process or a traditional CIP process
- Continue with the Leathers & Associates contract or discontinue
I encourage you to attend the meeting to provide your input. A complete agenda for the meeting can be found on the Board's webpage.
