 The City's 2015 Summer Tennis Program is designed to meet the needs of tennis players age 15 and older of all levels. The program provides the right balance of instruction, stroke development and strategy, court positioning, shot selection, footwork, and supervised match play. The deadline for weekend classes is Wed., July 22. Registration for the 6-week, 90-minute course is $121 for residents; $139, nonresidents.  Follow Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre on Twitter and Facebook to discover the locations for upcoming pop-up plays "Little Ned Riding Hood" on Sat., July 25 and "You're Not Ugly...Duckling" on Sat., Aug. 1. Both plays begin at 11 a.m. Not only will the family have a great time watching and interacting in great family theater, but you'll get a chance to visit some of Evanston’s great outdoor locations you might not have visited before.
 Enjoy Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre's production of "The Vagina Monologues," with performances through July 26 on Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m., at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center. The play is a series of incredible soliloquies, each dealing with the feminine experience. This moving play is told both comically and poignantly by three racially and culturally diverse women.

 Attend the Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival on Sat., Aug. 1 and Sun., Aug. 2, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Dawes Park, located on Sheridan Rd. at Church St. on the lakefront. Admission to the festival is free. The nationally-recognized juried fine arts and crafts festival showcases work from more than 100 artists. Be sure to make a bid or two at the silent art auction, and bring your children or grandchildren to the popular Children's Craft Tent. Similar to last year, local youth age 21 and younger are invited to submit their locally-made, short films to be screened as opening trailers during the 2015 Starlight Movies in the Park series. Submissions will be accepted through Fri., Aug. 21. Valid entries must be 15 minutes or less, formatted on a DVD-R disc that can be played in the U.S., and include the name of the participant, their role(s) in the production, age, address, email and phone number.
