Beginning Monday, June 22, the lakefront path east of Northwestern University's lakeside athletic playing fields will be closed. This section of the path will be closed for the duration of the university's athletic field construction project, and is expected to reopen in late December 2015.

Signs have been posted at each end of the path to inform regular users. Please note that the lakefront paths around Northwestern's Music and Norris buildings will remain open during the project.
