Wrap Up: "Let's Roll Together" Campaign Events
On May 11-13, the City successfully launched its “Let’s Roll Together” campaign to remind all road users to do their part in keeping the roads safe for cyclists, pedestrians and motorists. The City would like
to thank everyone who participated in the campaign.
Reminder: Dogs Must Be
Leashed in Public
 As
the weather warms up, Evanston dog owners are reminded that pets must be leashed
in public, including at City parks. Annual memberships can be purchased for
Pooch Park and the Evanston Dog Beach, where dogs may run off-leash.

Rotary PizzaFest 5/19
 Join the Rotary Club of Evanston for the annual Rotary PizzaFest event on Tues., May 19, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Gigio's Pizzeria, located at 1001 Davis St., in Evanston. Tickets are $25 for adults; $15 for children. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Evanston's Charitable Fund.

Longtime Evanstonian Receives Congressional Gold Medal
 On May 9, longtime Evanstonian Colonel Charles Compton was presented with his individual award as part of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Congressional Gold Medal. The CAP is now formally recognized for its service flying armed surveillance and protection during WWII.
Evanston Art Center Annual Spring Benefit 5/16
 On Sat., May 16, 6 p.m., community members are invited to attend the Evanston Art Center's 28th Annual Spring Benefit, "The Art Party." Individual tickets are $200. Ticket prices include dinner, use of a photo booth, participation in the silent auction, and more.

 On Mon., May 18, 7 p.m., the Harley Clarke Committee will hold a community meeting in the Parasol Room of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., Evanston, regarding remaining options for the mansion. Presentations for each option will be provided by community members.
