Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, Cook County Assessor Joe Berrios, and the City of Evanston will host a property tax appeal workshop on Tuesday, May 12, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave. The workshop will review how to file a property
tax assessment appeal and other areas of interest to property tax payers.
On April 27, 2015, the Cook County Assessor began accepting appeals from property owners in Evanston for 2015 assessments, payable as taxes in August of 2016. The last day to appeal is Wednesday, May 27, 2015. More information >>>
