FY2018 County Budget Approved with No Property
Tax Increase
The DuPage County Board approved the Fiscal Year 2018 budget without increasing the County portion of the property tax levy for the 10th consecutive year. The County balanced its budget despite a $3.5 million cut in revenue from the state. Click here to view the full budget.

Public Works Committee Chairman Jim Healy and Chairman Dan Cronin recognized Division of Transportation crews who helped safely take down the Hobson Oak tree in Naperville. The Hobson Oak Partnership, which includes DuPage County, the Naperville Parks Foundation, the Morton Arboretum and other organizations, received the 2017 Chicago Regional Trees Initiative Urban Forestry Award for Partnerships for Success.
County Board Members Volunteer at Family Self Sufficiency Celebration
DuPage County Board members Janice Anderson, Tonia Khouri and Grant Eckhoff celebrated the successes of families participating in the County’s Family Self Sufficiency program with a special holiday meal, surprises under the tree and a visit from Santa! Thanks to all of the volunteers and congratulations to participants!
The U.S. Green Building Council awarded the Jeanine Nicarico Children's Advocacy and Neutral Exchange Center with LEED Gold certification. Public Works Committee Chairman Jim Healy and Environmental Committee Chairwoman Amy Grant joined Chairman Dan Cronin and staff during the presentation of this award.
