Track your refund using Where's My Refund?
If you e-filed your individual income tax return, you can check on the status of your refund by using Where's My Refund, available at tax.illinois.gov.
Just provide your Social Security number and the exact amount of your refund to check your status.
Where's My Refund is updated each business day, so please allow 24-48 hours between inquiries.
If your refund has been processed
Check the Illinois Comptroller's Find Your Illinois Tax Refund to see when you can expect payment.
