Anticipating a Tax Refund this Year?
A few things to keep in mind...
- Electronically filed, error-free individual income tax returns should receive a direct deposit refund in four to six weeks.
- Paper filed individual income tax returns and refunds take longer to process.
- Check the status of your Illinois refund by using Where's My Refund?
- If your return has been processed, additional status information on your refund is available through the Illinois Comptroller's Find Your Illinois Tax Refund.
