HOWARD AVENUE CLOSURE
MOUNT PROSPECT RD TO WOLF RD
JULY 28 THROUGH AUGUST 8, 2025
Howard Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Mount Prospect Rd and Wolf Rd for various utility upgrades. This closure will be in effect starting July 28 at 7am through approximately August 8. Access to all businesses will remain open. All work is weather dependent and unknown utility conflicts may cause delays.
A posted detour will direct traffic to utilize Mount Prospect Road, Oakton Street and Wolf Road.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to detour signs in the work zones, obey posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
