Upcoming Ward Meeting & Town Hall
Dear Residents,
Just a quick reminder that I’ll be holding a ward meeting on Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. at Friendship Park Conservatory (395 W. Algonquin Rd.). Our new City Clerk, Dominik Bronakowski, will be speaking, along with Bill Kenney, Municipal Manager for Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS). Bill has been with LRS since 2010 and oversees several municipal contracts in the area. He'll be a great resource for any LRS-related questions you might have.
I’d also like to let you know about another event happening the very next evening: State Representative Michelle Mussman will be hosting a Town Hall right here in Des Plaines, also at Friendship Park Conservatory. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, starting at 6 p.m. This is a great opportunity to hear legislative updates from Springfield, ask questions, and share your input directly with our state representative.
