8th Ward Meeting

Our next 8th Ward meeting will be at the Friendship Park Conservatory on Tuesday Oct. 1 at 7pm.
We are pleased to welcome our new Fire Chief, Matt Matzl, as our guest speaker for the evening. Chief Matzl began his career with the Des Plaines Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic in 2001 and has grown through the ranks over the past 20+ years. He will be sharing insights about his vision for our community’s safety and addressing any questions or concerns you may have.
After our speaker, I'll have time to answer questions.
Don't forget that the City has several events planned for the Fall season, including Food Truck Round Up, Fire Department Open House and Harvest Hoot. Visit the City's website for all of the details!
