2023 Concrete Program: Project Completion: 09/08/23
Project Completion Notice:
The Completion of all Alleys, Curbs, Aprons, and Sidewalks will be finalized on 09/08/2023.
During the 2023 Concrete Program, the City of Des Plaines Restored a Total of:
100+ Locations of Curb, Aprons, Sidewalks and other restoration types.
15,000+ Square-Feet of Sidewalks
1700+ Linear-Feet of Curbs
750+ Square Yards of Aprons
Also included:
The reconstruction of the Library Plaza to PCC Pavement from Deteriorated Brick Pavers.
The reconstruction of an existing alley at Henry Ave and Center Street to Pervious Concrete Pavement as a part of our Green Infrastructure Plan.
The reconstruction of an existing deteriorated alley at Rand Rd and Harding to Pervious Concrete Pavement as a part of our Green Infrastructure Plan.
The rehabilitation of two existing deteriorated permeable alleys with a newly installed UNILOCK Permeable Brick Pavers (Laurel and Prairie & Oakton and White St) to further promote an ecofriendly design for runoff storage.
The final restorations will begin early next week and be completed by 09/08/2023.
