Request for Proposals (RFP) Downtown Des Plaines
The City of Des Plaines is offering an exciting opportunity to submit a proposal to become a tenant business at the former Leela Arts Center/Masonic Temple building located at 1452-1460 Miner Street/608-620 Lee Street. Please find the official Request for Proposal document on the City website. The City is seeking Tenant Partners in retail, entertainment, events, and food-and-beverage sectors to lease and operate consumer-focused businesses or programming in tenant spaces within the building.
The City will host an Open House and walk-through for respondents. The date and time of the Open House will be shared upon event registration, which can be completed via the electronic form here. All registrations should be received by 5 p.m. CDT on Monday, June 19.
Fair Housing 101
In partnership with Open Communities, the City will host a Fair Housing workshop on Thursday, June 29, at 6 p.m. Whether you are a homeowner, renter, landlord, or someone who wants to create a fair housing community for everyone in Des Plaines, join us to learn more about Fair Housing and why it matters to you.
