Cook County COVID-19 Community Recovery Initiative Impact Report
At the March 18 meeting of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, we released our 2020 Impact Report, "Rebuilding Stronger Together: Fostering Resilience and Advancing Equity.” The report contains success stories, quotes, and key insights about the Community Recovery Initiative. The success of these efforts was driven by a network of nearly 100 local, regional, and national partners. View the full report.
Apply Now for Emergency Rental Assistance
Applications are now open for the Cook County Emergency Rental Assistance program. The program pays up to 12 months of missed rent and utility payments and up to 3 months of future rent payments directly to your landlord or utility provider. Applications will remain open until April 2, 2021.
Information on programs for those in Chicago or other parts of the state can be found by going to chicookilrenthelp.org.

Read Our Report on the Urgent Needs for Manufacturers in Suburban Cook County
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cook County partnered with the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) to conduct a historic outreach and census of suburban Cook manufacturers to ascertain the impact of the pandemic on their business. Over 1,000 manufacturers were surveyed to better understand their most urgent needs.

Where Can I Find Covid-19 Vaccines?
Vaccinations at Cook County Health sites are by appointment only. Interested individuals should register at vaccine.cookcountyil.gov or by calling the hotline at (833) 308-1988 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday – Friday. They will be notified when appointments are available for scheduling for their eligibility tier.
In addition to Cook County Health sites, the Cook County Department of Public Health has distributed vaccines to more than 145 partner locations, including Jewel-Osco, Mariano’s, Walgreens, Federally Qualified Health Centers and hospitals who are also offering vaccines by appointment.
