Dear Cook County Employee,

The Cook County Personnel Rules Addendum COVID-19 Related Leaves and Return to Work Processes (“Personnel Rules Addendum”) has been revised effective February 1, 2021.  A new section of Rule 6 – Leaves of Absence Related to COVID-19, Rule 6.9, was created to provide guidance on how absences related to the COVID-19 vaccination will be covered. A link to the Personnel Rules Addendum and Acknowledgement Form are provided below. 

The Bureau of Human Resources continues to update its policies consistent with applicable federal guidelines, to provide employees guidance as we go through this critical time together.  As such, please review the Personnel Rules Addendum effective February 1, 2021 and acknowledge receipt by clicking the Acknowledgement Form.
