The Small Business Administration (SBA) has restarted the Paycheck Protection Program. The new round of relief expands eligibility for new borrowers, and allows first-round borrowers to access the program again. Calling All Community Organizations and Municipalities!
Are you a community organization or municipality looking to rebuild in your community? You might be eligible for a community development block grant if you are in suburban Cook County. Typical projects include residential infrastructure needs like street and sewer improvements and municipal and nonprofit facility improvements. Last year, 48 applicants were awarded grants totaling $8.7 million through a funding partnership between our Bureau and the Department of Transportation and Highways. Read full press release.

"Invest In Cook" Accepting Applications
Cook County's Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) is making available $8.5 million in 'Invest in Cook' grants to help advance planning, engineering, right-of-way acquisition and construction associated with transportation improvements sponsored by local governments and private partners.

Food Delivery Partnership hits $50,000 in Private Donations
President Preckwinkle joined Connections for the Homeless Executive Director Betty Bogg, local elected officials and community partners to announce $50,000 in private donations for a pilot program that provides delivery of meals purchased from local restaurants and chefs to the homes of recently settled individuals and families.
