New Resources for Small Businesses

COVID-19: Small Business Assistance Program

Today, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development, and Next Street, announced the launch of the Cook County COVID-19 Recovery: Small Business Assistance Program, a business advising, education, and grant program designed to help small businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch on Facebook live.   View Press Release

New Small Business Resources Available

  • $10,000 Grants  Small  businesses in suburban Cook County impacted by COVID-19 can apply for a recovery grant.
  • Business Advising Program helps businesses address their unique needs, including acquiring new capital and customers, understanding financial, change and risk management, adjusting business models, and operating under new safety regulations.
  • Webinars provide interactive sessions to get business owners thinking about how to manage your business during the pandemic. Join the 6-week series. Sign up today for the first webinar Tomorrow - Thursday, September 24, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm CDT. Register here.
